It is going to be test of character for Virat Kohli as he gets ready for one of his biggest challenge as skipper. He has proved to be a good leader and with his improved temperament, he is looks to be ready to lead the team.

While there has been criticism about Dhoni's captaincy in the Tests, Virat may have to wait atleast until the next World Cup to take over as full time skipper. This will surely be a learning curve for the Delhi Dasher and the whole nation will be looking at him.

He might still be testing waters as a skipper, but don't be surprised if he manages to pull the rug under his opponents feets. Through out his career, he has been a great learner and has never repeated the mistakes that he has committed once.

Captaincy may well be a different ball game altogether, but he has a long way ahead of him and even though he has led India in the Zimbabwe tour, the Asia Cup may well be his first taste of what it is like to lead an international team.
